With so many web sites and blogs out there devoted to Sports News, Sports Talk and observations,  it’s difficult to differentiate yourself as something “unique.”

So, we won’t. We’re just like everyone else. Except maybe a little funnier.

And, as you will find, we’re not strictly a sports, or football, site. We kind of post whatever we want.

RZR History

We actually began the title “Red-Zone Report” sometime in 2002, with weekly articles for Raidernews.com. That concluded in 2004, but Red-Zone was resurrected in 2007 with the idea of having a web site and weekly sports talk show on ComRadio.

Well, the talk-show plans fell through. So we started the site anyway, and it’s been running smoothly online since April 24, 2007.

In 2009, we were approached by MVN.com to join their blogosphere. We called MVN home for about three months before finding our way back to WordPress. At the same time, we added journalist L. Leonard to improve our coverage of college football, particularly Penn State Football (in our neck of the woods).

So, with Mr. Leonard, a few contributors, and myself we have College Football and the NFL covered. We don’t figure on winning any awards. But that’s not why we’re here.
