Hall finds a home

The Atlanta Journal Constitution has reported that Falcons cornerback DeAngelo Hall and the Oakland Raiders have agreed in principle to a contract that looks to be finalized Thursday.

“There is just some tweaking of the language that needs to be done, some minor details,” Hall was quoted on ajc.com. “No deal breakers.”

In exchange for the two-time Pro Bowler, the Falcons will receive the Raiders second-round draft pick (no. 34 overall) and their sixth-round pick.

Per AJC, Hall is schedule to fly into Oakland Wednesday to meet with team officials.

Update: Per KFFL, Hall met longtime Raiders DB coach Willie Brown at the Oakland Airport and the two were seen entering a limousine, which was reportedly on its way to Oakland headquarters.

Raiders shopping Washington?

In related Raider news, the San Francisco Chronicle has reported the Raiders are shopping former No. 1 pick CB Fabian Washington.

Stanford Routt replaced Washington last year in the lineup. With the addition of DeAngelo Hall, and franchise-tagged Nnamdi Asomugha, it appears Washington is the odd man out.
