Soloman Wilcots is an idiot

After watching games throughout the regular season, and listening to Sirius Radio, I have learned a few things about Soloman Wilcots. Below are signs that Solomon is an idiot.

> Browns/Ravens Week 11. Browns field goal hits the supporting post and bounces back into the field of play. It had already passed through the uprights. Soloman was announcing the game and said the kick was no good because it bounced off the post and “came to rest short of the goalposts.” Um, it doesn’t matter where it comes to rest, Solly. The field goal was good.

> Raiders/Chiefs Week 12. A Raiders receiver didn’t make a football move before losing the ball, Wilcotts said, “so it’s not a fumble.” That’s no longer a rule. The football move is no longer required.

Sirius NFL Radio Dec. 11. Soloman said one of the league’s head coaches will ”represent a foundation to which you can build upon.” Solly tried too hard to construct a proper sentence there. (…represent a foundation upon which you can build is, I assume, what he was going for.)  I would expect better English usage out of a Sirius Radio host (with the exception of Shannon Sharpe, whom I actually enjoy).

> Raiders/Jaguars Week 16. Solomon again referenced the football move, which is no longer necessary, when a Jacksonville defender intercepted a pass.

I will update the list when additional examples become available. Knowing Solly, it shouldn’t take long.
