The Oakland Raiders and No. 1 holdout draft pick JaMarcus Russell have a face-to-face meeting scheduled for Friday in an attempt to end the quarterback’s holdout, reports Adam Schefter of NFL Network.

Russell’s agent, Eric Metz, has not publicly commented on the negotiations.
